The Environment Agency (EA) has made several updates to the guidance on the standard rules and generic risk assessment for tranche B specified generator for base load operation:

New conditions for decarbonisation readiness have been added.

Hydrogen has been added as a new fuel type with corresponding criteria and ELVs including for blends with natural gas.

Marine Conservation Zone under the meaning of protected habitats has been added.

References to TGN5 have been replaced and MCERTS monitoring as an option included.

There have been various updates to the interpretation section to improve understanding.
