DESNZ, on behalf of the UK ETS Authority, has communicated that the 2026 UK ETS Auction Calendar has been adjusted to account for domestic maritime emissions after the statutory instrument that brings the scope expansion into effect came into force.
A revised UK ETS auction calendar for 2026 has been published by ICE Futures Europe, the auction provider for the scheme. It details an increase in allowances for auction in 2026 to account for the inclusion of domestic maritime emissions in the UK ETS.
