HMSO has published SI 2026/676 Marine Licensing (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment etc.) Order 2026, which updates UK marine licensing rules to implement the UK’s international obligations under the Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction Agreement by extending licensing requirements to certain activities carried out by UK people, vessels and structures on the high seas, while also updating existing exemptions and administrative provisions.
