The MCA has published an update to MGN 482 (M) on medical care under the Maritime Labour Convention 2006, replacing the previous version to reflect updated references, legislation and guidance, and reiterating requirements for shipowners to provide appropriate medical care, equipment and support for seafarers both on board and ashore in line with current UK regulatory standards.
