The MCA has published MGN 474 (M) Amendment 1, updating guidance on the continued requirement for UK sea-going ships, yachts and other vessels that are not subject to the Maritime Labour Convention’s seafarer employment agreement rules to retain formal crew agreements, clarifying when they must be kept, the form they should take, and how exemptions or non-standard arrangements can be handled under current regulations.
