OPRED has issued a communication which states that after operators submitted their Baseline Data Reporting (BDR) and free allocation (FA) applications in June 2025, technical reviews are now being finalised, and all applications will be submitted to the UK ETS authority by 30 September 2025.
There is a known bug in the METS system that currently prevents downloading reviewed BDRs, this is expected to be fixed in early October. Access to reviewed BDRs can be done by contacting OPRED.
2026 free allocations will be calculated based on prior activity level changes or new entrant applications.
