OPRED is requesting information from developers planning impulsive noise-generating activities (like piling, UXO clearance, or geophysical surveys) in or near the Southern North Sea Special Area of Conservation (SNS SAC) during Winter 2025–2026 or Summer 2026. This data will help assess potential underwater noise impacts and determine if coordinated management is needed.
Submissions – mandatory for certain activities – should be made as soon as possible for winter, and by 26 September 2025 for summer.
