The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and the Environment Agency (EA) have updated their guidance on the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) to clarify Phase 4 compliance requirements, including changes to alternative compliance routes, action plan progress reporting and voluntary net zero assessments. The guidance also outlines key qualification and reporting deadlines, including the Phase 4 compliance deadline of 5 December 2027.
