The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published a safety notice warning offshore operators about the risk of falls through glass floor windows in elevated cabins. The warning follows serious incidents where protective floor grilles were removed and not properly replaced. HSE is urging employers to ensure grilles are securely fitted and suitable precautions are in place during cleaning and maintenance.
