The Regulations set out how the nature restoration levy operates under the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025, including who is liable to pay, how the levy is calculated and paid, and how the funds are used to support environmental conservation measures identified in environmental delivery plans. They also establish requirements for liability notices, surcharges and interest on overdue payments, enforcement through warning and stop notices, and procedures for reviews and appeals.
