The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are seeking views on proposed updates to RIDDOR 2013, focusing on clarifying definitions, expanding occupational disease reporting, broadening accepted diagnoses, and updating dangerous occurrences lists. The consultation also covers non-legislative changes aimed at simplifying the online reporting process to improve accuracy and reduce administrative burden.
This consultation has been extended, and now closes on 7 July 2026.
