These Regulations implement certain amendments made to the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 by making amendments to SI 2014/1613 Merchant Shipping (Maritime Labour Convention) (Minimum Requirements for Seafarers etc.) Regulations 2014 and SI 2014/1615 Merchant Shipping (Maritime Labour Convention) (Recruitment and Placement) Regulations 2014.
The Regulations also make consequential amendment to SI 2018/1104 Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations 2018.
