The MCA has published amendment 2 to the marine guidance notice which provides guidance on the changes resulting from the 2022 amendments to the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC).
This notice should be read with SI 2026/260 the Merchant Shipping (Maritime Labour Convention and Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2026; MSN 1845 (M) Amendment 2 Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 Food and Catering: Provision of food and fresh water; and MGN 707 Maritime Labour Convention, 2006: Provision of social connectivity and internet access and replaces MGN 706 (M).
