The MCA has published Marine Information Note MIN 733 setting out its approach to survey and certification requirements for UK vessels affected by the conflict in the Middle East, outlining contingency measures where ships are unable to complete statutory surveys, audits and verifications, and clarifying the use and limits of certification extensions, remote surveys and alternative arrangements to ensure vessels can continue to operate safely despite disruption.
