This Order varies the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (Application outside Great Britain) Order 2013 (S.I. 2013/240), which applies sections 1 to 59 and 80 to 82 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (c. 37) to certain premises and activities in the territorial sea adjacent to Great Britain and to areas designated under the Continental Shelf Act 1964 (c. 29).
Specifically, this varies the definition of offshore installation in Article 4 of the 2013 Order to include structures used for the production of hydrogen.
