The NSTA has launched a new free text search function in the National Data Repository, making it faster and easier for users across industry, academia and government to find relevant information within more than 1.1 million files.
Using AI and plain-language tagging, the improved search allows results to be refined by factors such as geography and date, significantly supporting activities including carbon storage assessment, offshore wind development and oil and gas decommissioning, while increasing the accessibility and usability of decades of openly available data.
