The MCA has published MGN 577 (M) Amendment 2 to update guidance on the maintenance of lists of crew ashore, reminding shipowners, employers and masters of UK merchant vessels of their obligations under the Merchant Shipping (Crew Agreements, Lists of Crew and Discharge of Seamen) Regulations to keep an up-to-date list of crew (including all changes) at a UK address, explain how and when to deliver it on demand to the Registrar-General of Shipping and Seamen, and detail what information the list should include, with this amendment updating reference information only.
