The MCA has issued this marine information note as a reminder to LSA Service Stations to be aware of the required liferaft average person mass compliance based on keel laying date when conducting routine exchanges of SOLAS liferafts.
This notice should be read in conjunction with MGN 548 (M+F) Amendment 1 Life-Saving Appliances, and is issued as an interim measure pending its update.
