The MCA has issued amendment 2 to this MGN, which provides information on controlling risks in the workplace to the exposure of electromagnetic fields (EMFS).
Amendment 2 updates references only.
This notice should be read with the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Electromagnetic Fields) Regulations 2016 and replaces MGN 559 (M+F) Amendment 1.
This notice applies to all shipowners, employers, masters, seafarers, skippers and crew of fishing vessels.
