The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) seeks views on a statutory instrument (SI) to replace the Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) Regulations 2016, as amended.
The proposed SI will simplify processes for industry by assimilating the 2016 Regulations, and two 2019 amending SIs, into a single statutory instrument, and add clarity.
This consultation closes on 26 May 2025.
