The Crown Estate is focused on developing manufacturing facilities and port infrastructure, enabling faster deployment of UK offshore wind in the supply chain accelerator’s second round.
Following The Crown Estate Act 2025, the second round was expanded to include UK ports and port infrastructure to support construction, manufacturing, operations & maintenance, and wet storage of fixed and floating offshore wind, as well as supply chain opportunities supporting deployment.
The Crown Estate has allocated £15m for the next round of the programme .
