The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) opened a consultation on how the Marine Recovery Fund (MRF) will function.
Views are sought about the proposed Marine Recovery Fund (MRF), including:

the application process
-
the costs and charges
-
how it will deliver compensatory measures.
The MRF will deliver industry-funded, strategic measures to compensate for adverse effects of offshore wind developments on marine protected areas. This will support the Clean Power Mission.
This consultation closes on 12 May 2025.
