The Environment Agency (EA) has published guidance on its regulatory position on when you can import UK origin naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) waste without a waste shipment consent.
This regulatory position statement (RPS) does not change a legal requirement to obtain prior informed consent from all competent authorities concerned under Waste Shipments Regulation EC 1013/2006 when importing NORM waste to England.
