The Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED) has issued a communication regarding the UK ETS Authority.
The UK ETS Authority is consulting on three proposals relating to the publication of historical UK ETS registry transaction data; the disclosure by national authorities of information held or obtained under five pieces of UK ETS legislation; and criteria for eligibility for ultra-small emitter (USE) status in the allocation period 2026-2030.
