The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has today published a summary of responses received after the 2023 call for evidence.
In summary, the call for evidence has returned insight on the difficulties faced by industrial sites regarding electrification. It has also provided clarity that further electrification-specific intervention is needed to bring parity with other low carbon fuels, allowing sites to choose the right decarbonisation option for their business.
