The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) has published a notice providing guidance on the biological agents regulations. This information is required to comply with the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) (Biological Agents) Regulations 2010 as amended.
This notice should be read in conjunction with MGN 636 (M) Amendment 1 and MGN 587 (F) Amendment 1 ILO Work in Fishing Convention : Health and Safety Responsibilities which give guidance on the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) Regulations 1997.
This notice replaces MGN 408 (M+F) and MSN 1889 (M+F) Amendment 3.
