The Environment Agency (EA) and Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) has updated the ‘After you apply’ section to clarify what happens if the EA needs more information before an application can be ‘duly made’.
You must apply to the EA for an environmental permit if you operate a facility which is classed as an ‘A1 installation’.
