The asset stewardship taskforce, under the North Sea transition forum, was established to support the NSTA Strategy, in respect of both production and net zero obligations by improving asset stewardship in the UK Continental Shelf. A cross-industry ASTF workshop was held, covering four themes: JV hub strategy, emissions reduction action plan (ERAP), learning & sharing and culture.
The ERAP subgroup undertook a review of ERAP feedback, enhancing their visibility, and widening the decarbonisation conversations across the basin. From this a guideline was developed which outlines a framework for implementing good practices and offering guidance in planning greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction within UK offshore energy.
