The Minister for Lords (MfL), with the consent of Scottish and Welsh Ministers, has made a decision with regards to the Great Britain Mandatory Classification and Labelling (GB MCL) of 88 chemical substances. This was made under Article 37 of the GB CLP Regulation, and is an administrative process of updating the GB MCL list.
This is to give legal effect to entries in the GB MCL list that were not retained/assimilated into UK law, following the exit of the UK from the European Union in 2020 and the end of the implementation period on 31 December 2020.
