The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published a safety notice on servicing lifts for offshore and onshore wind turbines as a result of a worker suffering serious injury while fixing moving parts of a service lift.
This notice is aimed at duty holders who design, manufacture, construct or operate wind turbines, duty holders who maintain, service or undertake statutory testing on wind turbines, and their employers, suppliers and manufacturers of service lifts for wind turbines.
