The Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED) has published this note to provide guidance for applications relating to geological surveys that require notification only.
Examples of geological survey activities that require notification only are Echo Sounder Survey, Side-scan Sonar Survey, Visual Surveys, Multi-beam Survey and Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) Survey.
