The Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED) has published communications stating that the UK ETS Authority seeks views on four amendments to existing civil penalties within the scheme, to ensure civil penalty values are comparable to penalties of a similar nature and are proportionate to the type of breach.
OPRED have requested that any feedback be communicated to emissions.trading@energysecurity.gov.uk by 08/03/2024.
