The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published guidance for building owners and landlords, those maintaining or repairing buildings, employers of anyone likely to disturb asbestos, workers, asbestos surveyors and analysts, and licenced contractors.
The guidance describes how to comply with the law for actions to take, identification and condition of asbestos, assessing the risks it presents and mitigating where possible. As well as providing the right training, instruction, and information to anyone who might disturb the asbestos.
