The North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) is seeking views on long-term options for how to fund its carbon storage work, once the UK Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) industry is on a more established and self-sustaining footing.
To assist with this, a call for evidence launched on 4 December 2023 and will stay open until 26 January 2024. It forms part of an early information-gathering exercise to seek initial views on potential principles, design and timing of a possible future levy on UK carbon storage licences.
