The Environment Agency (EA) and Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) have published guidance on how to complete an air emissions risk assessment, including how to calculate the impact of your emissions and the standards you must meet.
They have updated the Environmental Assessment Levels (EALs) for acrylamide, butadiene, cadmium, chromium III, copper, ethylene oxide, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen cyanide, mercury, methyl chloride (chloromethane), methylene chloride (dichloromethane), nickel and selenium, following our consultation, Review of EALs for emissions to air: second phase.
