The Office of Product Safety and Standards has published updates to several pieces of statutory guidance in alignment with the updates to the Northern Irish version of the documents.
The changes include updating the NI guide to reflect the Government’s announcement on 1 August to extend recognition indefinitely of CE marking in certain product sectors for placing goods on the GB market.
This has affected the following UK statutory guidance documents:
- Simple Pressure Vessels (Safety) Regulations 2016
- Radio Equipment Regulations 2017
- Pressure Equipment Safety Regulations 2016
- Measuring Instruments Regulations 2016
- Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008
- Lifts Regulations 2016
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016
- Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016
- Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018
