The Department for Business and Trade and the Department for International Trade have published a strategy setting out how the government will position the UK as a world leading hub for upstream decommissioning.
The report is the first stage of a collaborative process for developing export support for United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) decommissioning capabilities.
It outlines recommendations made by various stakeholders on actions and enablers to take which will encourage the UK supply chain to export its expertise and further develop UK capability in offshore oil and gas decommissioning.
