The Offshore Major Accident Regulator (OMAR) has published an updated version of Operations Notice 82 concerning accommodation on offshore installations which replaces revision 2 which was published in May 2019.
Revision 3 makes a number of minor textual amendments and also adds several new paragraphs:

– Continual Improvement: 7
– Privacy and comfort: 15, 16
– Temporary Use: 17
– Welfare Impact Assessment: 18, 19
The heading ‘Provision of accommodation on normally unattended installations (NUI)’ has had the following added – ‘or not permanently attended installation (NPAI)’.
