Between January and March 2021, Defra sought views on a draft of the ‘Updated UK Plan for Shipments of Waste’ which implements the UK government policy of self-sufficiency in waste disposal by prohibiting imports and exports of waste to and from the UK for disposal.
The government response has now been published.
