Energy Portal Integrated Reporting System (IRS) – Further Action Required

by | Aug 25, 2021 | BEIS, Development, Environment, OPRED, Regulatory Process, Reporting, UK

In March 2021, BEIS OPRED notified stakeholders that is was developing an Integrated Reporting Service (IRS) on the Energy Portal for reporting regulatory breaches or non-compliance with regulatory approvals. IRS will house report types such as PON1s, PON2s, PON10s and non-compliance notifications.

The March communication requested that organisations required to use the system nominate a Team Co-ordinator. BEIS OPRED has now populated the nominated personnel within each organisation.

Further Action
Team Co-ordinator’s must now populate their teams within IRS, to reiterate anyone who is required to submit or view a notification will need to have access to IRS. You may find the IRS Managing Teams guide useful which can be found on the BEIS OPRED Communications page.

Any delay to populating IRS with users may result in your organisation not being able to submit notifications.

IRS was initially intended to go live 1 September 2021, this has been delayed. The new go live date is 22 September 2021.
