A consultation regarding Proposed changes to charging a fee in respect of decommissioning offshore (oil and gas) installations and pipelines under the Petroleum Act 1998 as amended by the Energy Act 2008 was launched by BEIS OPRED in May (link).
Following on from this announcement, a document relating to this entitled Offshore Oil & Gas Decommissioning Cost Recovery: Consultation Stage Impact Assessment has been added to the information already made available on BEIS OPRED’s gov.uk webpage Oil and gas: decommissioning of offshore installations and pipelines under the Overview heading.
