This Guide is for businesses placing personal protective equipment (PPE) on the market in Great Britain from 1 April 2021.
This guidance is designed to help you understand Regulation 2016/425 and the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018, as applicable in Great Britain from 1 January 2021 and as amended by the Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
The guidance has been amended to reflect the end of the conformity assessment easing in relation to the placing on the GB market of COVID-19 related PPE.
