This guidance provides information on how to apply for a standard rules environmental permit from the Environment Agency.
The guidance has recently been updated to emphasise that before a permit application is submitted the applicant must check that their site meets the standard rules location criteria. If the site does not meet the criteria the Environment Agency will return the application.
