This MGN provides guidance and clarification for aspects of MARPOL annex V, Polar Code and Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Pollution by Garbage from Ships) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 2020/621).
The MCA has amended MGN 632 in order to incorporate a number of typographical changes. In addition, section 14.2 under the heading ‘Garbage Record Books/Electronic Record Book’ has been rewritten.
