BEIS: Building Our Industrial Strategy – Green Paper (link)
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched a green paper setting out its vision for a modern industrial strategy and early actions it has committed to take.
The green paper sets out how BEIS propose to build the industrial strategy. It aims to start a genuinely open and collaborative conversation about the skills, research, infrastructure and the other things required to drive long term growth in productivity.
In order to make the industrial strategy effective in delivering an economy that works for everyone, comments are welcomed as part of a broad discussion on the approach and ideas set out. The Oil and Gas Authority is working with industry and Oil & Gas UK to formulate a response. The deadline for responses is 17 April 2017.
