Changes to regulations to recover costs of services under Offshore Petroleum Activities (Oil Pollution Prevention and Control) Regulations 2005 (as amended); and Offshore Chemicals Regulations 2002 (as amended)
The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched a consultation on its proposal to amend regulation 6 of the Offshore Petroleum Activities (Oil Pollution Prevention and Control) Regulations 2005 and regulation 8 of the Offshore Chemicals Regulations 2002. These proposed changes, if taken forward, would enable DECC to charge Industry a fee for providing certain services under these Regulations.
