DECC’s Offshore Environment Unit (OEU) has issued this guidance document for licence operators, offshore installations operators, well operators, owners of non-production installations and any other bodies who may be interested in how the cost recovery schemes for environmental permitting etc. activities will operate. It provides information on the scope and nature of the functions undertaken by DECC OEU for which costs may be recoverable.
