Offshore Helicopter Operations – Vibration Health Monitoring (link)
The Civil Aviation Authority has issued an Operational Directive (provided in Annex 1 of this Safety Directive)relating to Vibration Health Monitoring (VHM) systems. It is applicable to operators conducting offshore Commercial Air Transport operations.
The CAA considers that it is in the interests of safe operations that UK registered helicopters conducting offshore operations in a hostile environment continue to be fitted with and operate Vibration Health Monitoring (VHM) equipment pending revisions to EU Regulation 965/2012 (the Air Operations Regulation) (link).
