SSI 2015/214 The Environmental Liability (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2015 (link)
These Regulations amend the Environmental Liability (Scotland) Regulations 2009 (link).
The Regulations serve to implement EU Directive 2013/30/EU on the safety of offshore oil and gas operations (link), which extends the definition of “environmental damage” to include damage that significantly adversely affects the environmental status of marine waters.
