DECC: Guidance Notes for Petroleum Measurement Issue 9 (draft) (link)
This guidance document is designed to provide operators with guidance on DECC’s expectations as to what constitutes ‘good oilfield practice’. The Guidelines are intended for use in the design, construction and operation of measurement systems for which the approval of the Secretary of State is required under the Measurement Model Clause of the Petroleum (Production) Act 1934.
This new version of the guidance is produced here in draft form and DECC is seeking comments on the document. The consultation period closes on 31 May 2014.
